Frontier Fireworks designs and fires town and city centre firework displays right across the UK. A lot of these are Christmas oriented, the switch-on that brings a high street to life, but we also fire launches and specialist shows in built-up places. We are very good at the kind of display other companies say cannot be done.
They told you it could not be fired there
People often assume you cannot launch fireworks from the top of a building, or right next to one, in a tight town centre. We enjoy proving otherwise. We have fired safely from all sorts of surfaces and structures, from a multi-storey car park to the top of an ancient cathedral, and we are regularly approached about sites other companies have called impossible.
What you get
You get a display designed for a built-up site, where firing zones and fallout areas matter more than anywhere else. We start with a site visit to work out what can be fired safely, then design the show once we are contracted. We often combine fireworks and pyrotechnics, use technical frames that hold the fireworks in place, and fire with our wireless system. For Christmas switch-ons we colour and effect co-ordinate the display to Christmas music, so it feels like part of the occasion.

Rooftops and tight sites are our thing
Town centre work often means launching from a multi-storey car park, or fitting a lot of fireworks into a small firing site, or lifting equipment onto a rooftop with machinery. One of our most demanding jobs was firing two displays from the top of Southwark Cathedral for the 800th anniversary of the Great Fire of Southwark. Those of us who worked on it still remember how our legs felt three days later.
