Why we import rather than buy off a list
Frontier Fireworks imports large quantities of Category 4 Professional Use fireworks every year, both for our own displays and to supply the trade. Most companies pick their fireworks from a ready-made brochure. We do not. We work closely with our manufacturers and design our own, so the colours and effects in our displays are genuinely ours, and not the same ones everyone else is firing.
What importing actually means for you
If you are booking a display, importing is not just a detail about how we buy. It changes what you get. Because we bring fireworks in by the quantity and hold large stocks all year, there are more fireworks in your show for the same budget than a non-importing company can manage, the effects are fresher, and the stock is there even when world events slow imports down.
How we do it
We have a close relationship with our manufacturers and only use the highest quality factories, for quality and for safety. We enjoy the design side, pushing the boundaries of what we can do safely, mostly in the cakes and shells. Every year we review what we have and create something new, so our range keeps moving forward. All our fireworks are rigorously tested, through the CE certification process, the Chinese CIQ test, and to current European standards.
