Frontier Fireworks is a full-time professional firework display company based in East Sussex, working right across the UK. We design, choreograph and fire bespoke professional firework displays for public events, councils, corporate clients, weddings and private celebrations. Because we design, manufacture and import our own fireworks, your show is built around your event rather than pulled off a shelf. We have been doing this since 1996.
That moment just before the first volley
There is nothing quite like the hush before the first volley leaves the ground. The crowd goes quiet, the fireworks race up into the dark and the sky fills. What nobody in the audience sees is the hours of design behind that one moment. That is the part we care about most, and it is what separates a Frontier display from a box of fireworks let off in the right order.
If you have booked fireworks before and been let down
A lot of our work comes from people who started somewhere else. They had a show that fell flat, or a supplier who took on more than they could handle, and they came to us wanting to step up. Choosing a firework company really comes down to trust, because you are spending real money on something that happens once and cannot be redone if it goes wrong. So we earn that trust the slow way, by turning up, by being safe and by firing every display on time.
What you actually get
You get a show designed for your event, not borrowed from someone else’s. We choreograph the sequences and, if you want, time them to music, all fired with our own competition-grade fireworks. Because we import, there are more fireworks in your display than a non-importing company can give you for the same budget, and the effects change year on year, so regular clients never see the same show twice. And it happens when we say it will. In three decades we have never fired a display late.

Three decades, and a few shows we are proud of
We started in 1996 with the backing of the Prince’s Youth Business Trust and have fired displays all over the UK ever since. Along the way we have been trusted with some big occasions, including the RAF Red Arrows 50th anniversary at a secure site within RAF Scampton, the launch of the British Airways i360, and two rooftop displays for the 800th anniversary of the Great Fire of Southwark at Southwark Cathedral.
After the Red Arrows display, Red 10, Squadron Leader Mike Ling, called it “best display ever”.

A few things people ask before they book
Displays start at £999 including VAT, though the right figure depends on your event, your audience and the effect you want. We would always rather design the show around a budget you are comfortable with than quote a flat price per minute. There is more on the pricing and duration page.
The sooner the better, especially for bonfire season, when we are often fully booked a year ahead for the popular dates. At other times of year we can sometimes work at shorter notice, because we carry large stocks all year round.
Yes. We are based in East Sussex and fire displays across the UK, on land and on water.
Safety is the part we never cut. We carry out a site survey for every new venue, produce a full risk assessment and method statement, and hold £10 million insurance. There is more on the health and safety page.
