Displays for schools, from primary to university
Frontier Fireworks designs and fires a high number of school firework displays right across the UK, from primary schools all the way up to universities. Most are around the bonfire season, but we also fire leavers’ balls, school anniversaries, Christmas displays and Chinese New Year shows. Whatever the occasion, the aim is the same, a safe and spectacular night that raises money for your PTA to put back into the school.
Putting on a school display can feel like a lot
A school event has a lot riding on it, the safety, the fundraising target, and a crowd of families and children. That is exactly the part we take off your hands. We cover everything to do with the fireworks, including all the safety paperwork and full insurance, so you can focus on the rest of the evening. We have even put together a short booklet on how to make a school event a success.
How it works
When you get in touch, we start with an aerial view of your school grounds to check there is enough space for the fireworks and the audience. If it looks right, we arrange to visit and complete a site assessment. We can fire from a hard playground surface, a grass field, or from behind and on top of buildings, so even when the obvious space is not there, we can usually find a safe solution. From there we design a display with colours and effects that make the children gasp, and a few that make them laugh.

Low noise for younger children
A lot of schools ask for a low noise display for the very young, and some now run a short low noise children’s display before the main event. It keeps the spectacle for the little ones without the bangs, and it is something we do well because we design and import these fireworks ourselves.

We cover everything to do with the fireworks side of your event. That includes all the safety documents and full insurance cover. You choose the noise level, low noise or normal, and how much to spend, and we guide you through the options until you are happy with the display we propose.
