Low noise firework displays that keep the spectacle without the bangs

Bright colour and movement designed for venues with noise restrictions, so you get the wow without upsetting the neighbours.

Low noise specialists, designing and importing our own quiet fireworks since well before it was common.

What a low noise display is, and who it is for

Low noise firework displays have become hugely popular in the UK, as responsible companies have found ways to keep a display spectacular without disturbing local residents. We design and fire low noise displays right across the UK, for wedding and event venues with noise restrictions, for schools with very young children, and for anywhere a full noise show would not be welcome.

When the venue says low noise only

A lot of venues only allow low noise displays, to keep the neighbours happy, and that can feel like a compromise. People worry a quiet display means a flat one. It does not, as long as the company knows what it is doing. This is where our experience really shows, because we design, manufacture and import a large selection of low noise fireworks ourselves, and we know exactly how to use them.

So what does low noise actually mean

A normal display runs at full noise. A low noise display runs at no more than around 30 percent of that. In practice it means no bangs, whistles, crackles or shells, and a lot more bright colour and movement in their place. It is not silent, but it is a long way from a full noise show, and it keeps a venue and its neighbours happy.

How we keep the wow without the noise

The trick is in the sequencing. We design low noise shows carefully so the impact stays high, leaning on effects rather than volume. We use cakes, candles, single shot candles, cake slices, flares and fountains depending on the site. Clients who have booked them tell us about the wriggling fish effects, the brightness of the colours, the spinners in the sky, and what a lot of people call beautiful fireworks without the loud bangs.

Why people choose us for low noise

We were doing low noise displays before most companies, and because we design and import these fireworks ourselves, we have a genuine specialism rather than a workaround. A number of venues use us exclusively or regularly for exactly this reason, because they trust us to keep the noise down and the show up. Schools book us for low noise displays for the very young, and some Guy Fawkes events now run a low noise children’s display before the main show.

A few things people ask

No. It runs at around a 30 percent noise level, so there is still some sound, just no bangs, whistles, crackles or shells. The colour and movement do the work instead.

No, low noise is not more expensive. We do usually recommend keeping it a little shorter than a full noise show, because that keeps the impact high.

Yes, this is one of the most common reasons people ask for it, and it works very well for younger audiences.

Yes. A lot of the venues we work at only allow it, which is part of why we have become specialists in it.
